What is the best and most effective diet pill for weight loss?

I am 19 years old, 5'5", and a whooping 167 lbs, the most I have weighed my entire life. I do not have a small frame, and my weight is proportioned all over my body so I cant complain too much, but I would still like to lose 15-30 lbs. and get down to 130-140 lbs. to be more pleased with my physical appearance.

without sounding rude, I am NOT interested in being told that this is an unhealthy and potentially harmful choice when it comes to weight loss. I am well aware that diet and exercise is the smart, healthy, and proven way to go to lose unwanted weight, but I am desperate and looking for a quick fix (I am, however, trying to cut back on unhealthy food and watch what I eat, as well as begin working out and exercising)

If possible, I am interested in things I can find at a health store such as GNC vs. something shady sold online.

I am welcome to any and ALL feedback, including personal experience with any pill, supplement, powder etc. you have used.

There is not quick fix diet pill. You lose weight faster doing the right exercises and dieting. I wont bother telling you about the health effects, but most diet pills are supposed to be a supplement to exercise and dieting and it really only helps a little bit. If you only take diet pills you will lose a very small amount of weight(if any.)

One that sticks out in my mind as being pretty effective is Lipo-6. I have friends, both male and female, that have taken it with great success. I know you said you didn't want to be lectured but I must say that as with any supplement or diet pill, Lipo-6 will do nothing on it's own without a proper diet and exercise. Despite the millions if not billions of dollars spent on marketing these products as "quick fixes", there is really no such thing. You can take diet pills all you want but it's not going to do anything until you get your food and exercise in check. If you want more information checkout some of the articles and other diet products at www.bodybuilding.com. I know recommending a bodybuilding website may sound weird but there is a wealth of information to be found there that may help you with your goal.

The pills honestly don't do too much for you. If you read the back, they say to take them and excersize at least 2-3 time per week. It's the excersize that's helping you. Just go out and walk a few times a week. South Beech Diet worked for me really well and I lost about 20lbs in the first month and a half and it's WAY easy! :) Hope this helps; oh and I'm almost the exact description you gave but went from 185ish down to 150 in about 3 months.
